Invite your team and control what each person can do
Invite teammates
Go to Settings → Members and click Invite Member. Enter their email, pick a role, and click Send Invitation. Invitations expire after 7 days; you can Resend or Cancel them from the list.
From the members list you can also Change Role or Remove Member.
Default roles
Every workspace has four roles:
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and deleting the workspace |
| Admin | Everything except managing roles, deleting the workspace, and deleting polls or changelog posts |
| Member | View, post, vote and comment on feedback, edit and delete their own posts, view the changelog and polls |
| Viewer | View and vote on feedback, view the changelog and polls |
Members and Viewers use your public board, not the dashboard. People who sign in on your board join your workspace as Members automatically.
Custom roles
Under Settings → Roles, click Create Role, name it, and tick the permissions it should have. Risky permissions are tagged Dangerous. Use Compare Roles to see up to four roles side by side. The four default roles can't be edited, but custom roles can be edited or deleted any time.
Permissions
- Feedback: View feedback, View private feedback, Create feedback, Edit own feedback, Edit any feedback, Delete own feedback, Delete any feedback, Vote on feedback, Comment on feedback, Archive feedback, Manage feedback
- Roadmap: Move cards on roadmap, Create, Edit and Delete roadmap columns, Manage feedback types
- Changelog: View, Create, Edit and Delete changelog
- Polls: View, Create, Edit and Delete polls
- Inbox: View conversations, Reply to conversations, Manage conversations
- Workspace: View internal dashboard, Invite members, Remove members, Manage roles, Edit workspace settings, Manage integrations, Manage custom domain, Delete workspace, Export workspace data
View internal dashboard is what lets someone into the dashboard; without it, they're sent to the public board.
Multiple workspaces
Use the workspace switcher in the top-left corner to move between workspaces or Create workspace. The Free plan includes 1 workspace, Pro 10, Enterprise unlimited. After a downgrade, workspaces over the limit become read-only.
